Restore the beauty and functionality of your damaged teeth with dental crowns, an aesthetic and long-lasting solution for restoring your radiant smile.

Dental crowns

Dental crowns are custom-made restorations designed to cover and protect a damaged, decayed or discolored tooth. Crowns not only improve the aesthetic appearance of the tooth, they also strengthen its structure, helping to prevent further damage.

Definition :

Each dental prosthesis is custom-designed, making the treatment process unique for each individual. The choice between natural or implant-supported dentures, as well as the nature of the prosthesis (removable or fixed), also influence the procedure.

The basic steps in denture treatment include the following:

1. In-depth discussion of denture treatment options and definition of desired goals. 2. Transfer of the current oral situation to an analog or digital jaw model. 3. If necessary, installation of dental implants. 4. Dental technician plans and carries out the dental restoration. 5. Try-in of the prosthesis in the patient's mouth, with final adjustments if necessary. 6. Fixation of the prosthesis in the patient's mouth, if required.

Technical

The placement of a dental crown generally requires two appointments. During the first visit, the tooth is prepared and an impression is taken. A temporary crown is attached to the prepared tooth. On the second visit, the permanent crown is attached to the tooth after being fabricated in the laboratory. On average, each appointment lasts about an hour.

Duration of the intervention:

Between €800 and €1,300 per crown
